Artist note: This is my first attempt at using drafting film. Whereas most of the paper I have used this far is highly textured, drafting film is incredibly smooth. This means one simply does not have the amount of tooth to have many layers of coloured pencil and build the same depth of colour. However, its smoothness allows for crisp details. It is definitely a surface I will return to. I have done this as part of a Bonny Snowden tutorial on how to use drafting film.
